We pull every bank statement and credit card statement for the backlog period. We go through each transaction one by one. We categorize it, match it to receipts or invoices where possible, and reconcile every account month by month. If there are errors or duplicates, we fix them. If things were categorized incorrectly by an automated feed, we correct them.
When the work is done, you have a complete and accurate set of financial statements for the entire period. A real profit and loss statement. A real balance sheet. Numbers you can hand to your CPA, take to a bank, or use to make decisions about your business going forward.

We start with a review of what you have. Bank access, accounting software login, whatever documentation exists. From there we build a scope and timeline. A six-month backlog is usually a one to two week project. Larger backlogs take longer, but you will know the plan before we start.
